There are some great games set for round one of the 2010 AFL Season. Interesting that the season starts on a Thursday night, with Carlton and Richmond. But clearly the best match-up of the round is the Sunday game between the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood at Etihad stadium. The AFL must be wishing they had set the fixture to have that game at the MCG given how huge the crowd will be.

One of the blog comments suggested this lookalike but we had to go back to 2007 to find a photo of Gary Ablett Jnr with long hair to see if he looked much like Poker player Karl Hevroy.

Ok so maybe only the hair…but in honour of their first AFL game here’s Nick Naitanui and Tyrone Vickery with the same hairstyle. You’ll see plenty more of these two guys on the footy field for years to come, wonder who will lose the dreadlocks first?
